Shrine of Remembrance 戦争慰霊館

Down to south from Flinders Staition, Shrine of Remembrance stands on the hill. The shrine was memorial dedicated in early 20th century, which is Melbourne's iconic landmark in the beautiful enormous parkland. It is a place to commemorate and learn about how useless, profitless, cruel and tragic war is. 🙏😔

ここ戦争慰霊館も訪れたかった場所の一つ。フリンダース駅からトラムに乗り、南に少し行くと、小高い丘の上にそびえ立つ慰霊館が見えてくる。慰霊の火は絶えることなく、人々に戦争の愚かさ、無惨さ、無益さを伝え続けている。人類は学ぶことを知っているはずなのに。🙏😔

There are Queen Victoria Gardens and Royal Botanic Gardens next to The Shrine. We relaxed on the lawn surrounded by the beautiful gardens and trees 🌲 🌳

そのすぐ横に、ロイヤルボタニックガーデン、クィーンビクトリア。手入れの行き届いた芝生と庭園、並木が続き、美しい青空の下、心地良い空気の中、しばらくゆっくり。
