2016 東欧 - 身の丈で生きる

ここは、クロアチアの首都ザグレブの大聖堂

ずっと行きたかった東欧。

1980年代、ユーゴスラビア、サラエボで冬季オリンピックが開催された。美しい記憶だけがあった。

その後、民族紛争・

内戦が起こりニュースで聞いても内容がよく分からず、この目で見て、何があったのか知りたかった。

地域がら、フランク王国、神聖ローマ帝国の元にあった時代。オーストリア、ハンガリーの一部だった時代。日本人には理解に難しい歴史に翻弄された地域。

旧ユーゴスラビアから独立し、まだ30年に満たないという国々。独立にあたり、比較的被害の少ない国もあれば、複雑化した背景から数年にも及び、破壊、疲弊した地域と、今も様々な様相を呈す。

日本人には察することの難しい民族意識、国家意思、宗教観が、日々の生活に密着しているのだと想像できる。

本当に自然豊かな美しい国々が、どれだけの歴史を繋げてきたのかと感慨深い旅となった。謙虚さを教えてくれた。学べた気がした。行けて良かった。

1980's there was a winter Olympic Games in Sarajevo Yugoslavia. I clearly remember some of the fantastic scenes.

After that 1990's there were battles among these regions. At that time I just watched the news about the ethnic conflicts, the civil war. I couldn't understand why they had a domestic war. But the situations were much more complicated than we imagined. Historically the areas were controlled by Frank Kingdom, Holy Roman Empire, Austria and The Ottoman Empire.In the 20th century, some ethnic groups lived together happily under the name of country, Yugoslavia.But after the President Tito passed away, each ethnic group began to be independent. Then a lot of problems which were once hidden and oppressed bursted. Still now we can see the traces and marks of the war in such a beautiful scenery. Millions of people came to pray for peace. I have to learn more about the world. That was a literally educational trip. I appereciated the opportunity to visit. I 'll never forget this trip.

1990 年代に起きた紛争の傷跡を今に残す。

忘れてはいけない、紛争。

古都モスタルには、オスマン帝国時代のトルコ人の邸宅が多々ある。

クロアチア・ドゥブロヴニク、アドリア海の真珠
